Prayer for Faith in God...

God if You are the Truth reveal to us the sign of Your Love. Open our heart to receive guidance.

If You exist let me feel Your Love so we can see the Truth.

Please guide, my son, my mother, and I towards the light and goodness of Your great mercy and forgive us for our sins.

I make this prayer through Your Son, Lord Jesus Christ.

May the Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus shower upon us.

Mother Mary, please Pray for us.

Amen.

Prayer of St. Padre Pio

Stay with me Lord, for it is necessary to have You present so that I do not forget You.

You know how easily I abandon You...

Stay with me Lord, because I am weak and I need Your strength, that I may not fall so often

Stay with me, Lord, for You are my light, and without You I am in darkness.

Stay with me Lord, to show me Your will. Stay with me Lord so that I hear Your voice and follow You.

Stay with me Lord, for it is You alone I look for, Your Love, Your Grace, Your Will, Your Heart, Your Spirit...because I love You and ask no other reward but to love You more and more

Let me recognize You as Your disciples did at the breaking of the bread, so that the Eucharistic Communion be the Light which disperses the darkness, the force which sustains me, the unique joy of my heart.

Amen.

Must Never Judge, [253]

I must never judge anyone, but look at others with leniency and at myself with severity. I must refer everything to God and, in my own eyes, recognize myself for what I am: utter misery and nothingness. In suffering, I must be patient and quiet, knowing that everything passes in time.

Forty-Third Rose: Fighting Distractions

Excerpt from the Book "Secret of the Rosary"

WHEN THE ROSARY is well said it gives Jesus and Mary more glory and it is more meritorious for the soul than any other prayer. But it is also the hardest prayer to say well and to persevere in, owing especially to the distractions which almost inevitably attend the constant repetition of the same words.

When we say the Little Office of Our Lady, or the Seven Penitential Psalms, or any prayers other than the Rosary, the variety of words and expressions keeps us alert, prevents our imagination from wandering, and so makes it easier for us to say them well. On the contrary, because of the constant repetition of the same Our Father and Hail Mary in the same unvarying form, it is difficult, while saying the Rosary, not to become wearied and inclined to sleep or to turn to other prayers that are more refreshing and less tedious. This goes to show that one needs much greater devotion to persevere in saying the Holy Rosary than in saying any other prayer, even the Psalms of David.

Our imagination, which is hardly still a minute, makes our task harder and then of course there is the devil who never tires of trying to distract us and keep us from praying. To what ends does not the evil one go against us while we are engaged in saying our Rosary against him.

Being human, we easily become tired and slipshod----but the devil makes these difficulties worse when we are saying the Rosary. Before we even begin he makes us feel bored, distracted or exhausted----and when we have started praying he oppresses us from all sides. And when, after much difficulty and many distractions, we have finished, he whispers to us: "What you have just said is worthless. It's useless for you to say the Rosary. You had better get on with other things. It's only a waste of time to pray without paying attention to what you're saying; half an hour's meditation or some spiritual reading would be much better. Tomorrow when you're not feeling so sluggish you'll pray better; don't finish your Rosary until tomorrow." By tricks of this kind the devil gets us to give up the Rosary altogether or else hardly say it at all, and we keep putting it off or else change to some other devotion.

Dear Rosary Confraternity members, do not listen to the devil, but be of good heart even if your imagination has been bothering you throughout your Rosary, filling your mind with all kinds of distracting thoughts----as long as you really tried hard to get rid of them as soon as they came. Always remember that the best Rosary is the one with the most merit, and there is more merit in praying when it is hard than when it is easy. Prayer is all the harder when it is (naturally speaking) distasteful to the soul and is filled with those annoying little ants and flies running about in your imagination, against your will, and scarcely allowing you the time to enjoy a little peace and appreciate the beauty of what you are saying.

Even if you have to fight distractions all through your whole Rosary be sure to fight well, arms in hand: that is to say, do not stop saying your Rosary even if it is hard to say and you have absolutely no sensible devotion. It is a terrible battle, I know, but one that is profitable to the faithful soul. If you put down your arms, that is, if you give up the Rosary, you will be admitting defeat and then, having won, the devil will leave you alone.

But at the Day of Judgment he will taunt you because of your faithlessness and lack of courage. "He that is faithful in that which is least, is faithful also in that which is greater." [1] He who fights even the smallest distractions faithfully when he says even the very smallest prayer he will also be faithful in great things. We can be absolutely certain of this because the Holy Spirit has told us so.

So all of you, servants and handmaids of Our Lord Jesus Christ and the Blessed Virgin Mary, who have made up your minds to say the Rosary every day, be of good heart. Do not let the flies (it is thus that I call the distractions that make war on you during prayer) make you cowardly abandon the company of Jesus and Mary, in whose holy presence you always are when saying the Rosary. In what follows I shall give you suggestions for getting rid of distractions.

Love Encased in a Shell, Released in Purgatory

Carry Our Hardened Shell and Transform It into Love

.
TODAY WE CELEBRATE Christmas, the birthday of our Lord Jesus. We see the love of God in the image of baby Jesus lying down in a manger with his mother, our Mother Mary. Let me share with you an article I came across with, which is about purgatory and the love of God in this light. It says:

A person dies with only the same amount of love for God which he possesses on earth. His eternal reward is based upon this amount of love. His eternal treasures are given according to this love and what this love prompted him to do for God, for others and for his own soul while on earth. Sometimes nothing, sometimes a great deal.

St. John of the Cross tells us, in the evening of your life, you will be examined as to your love. God looks for love and love alone. And more often than not this love becomes encased in a shell of selflove and selfishness. When the person takes this love to purgatory to have this shell removed, the way this is done is through fire of longing and enlightenment. This fire of longing and enlightenment must not be confused with a fire of flame and smoke. The fire of purgatory is a burning desire of longing to be with God, longing to offer Him pure love. Although this fire may not be flame and smoke, the sufferings caused by it are far greater than a fire in flame which burns our material body. Even on earth, the spiritual torments of a broken heart are far worse than the material pain of a broken leg. And so it is with the soul in purgatory. With no distractions whatsoever, the soul desires only one thing, to be eternally united with God, to love Him with a pure love for all eternity. Yet when the soul still sees that the hard shell surrounding its love is still there, the soul can only suffer and lament and feel a torture beyond describing. The worse part of this torture is the soul’s knowledge that such separation could have been avoided. If only the hard shell or selflove had been destroyed on earth to pure love for God, prayer, penance, suffering, the sacraments, charity and the practice of virtue. The fire that torments the souls in purgatory was created by himself. They alone formed the torture. They alone decided their own sufferings because they alone built the shell of selflove around their love for God. They alone provided their own purgatory and this is one of the greatest sufferings because it could have been avoided. They did not have to go to purgatory if they had lived holy and saintly lives themselves. Daily, even hourly, they fashioned their place in purgatory by refusing the graces of God which they could have used to live a holy and saintly life. Each time they said no to God’s graces, they built a little bit more of the place in purgatory where they would suffer to destroy the shell that surrounded their love for God when his grace was refused and sin took its place.

There’s a beautiful Christmas song that says: "Masdan ninyo ang kanyang mata, larawan ng pagibig, pang-akit siya ng puso at ng taong lumilihis." The song tells about the infant lying in a manger, the Son of God and of Mary who is inviting us to come to Him, to love Him with pure love. In this day and age, there are so many distractions all around us to the point that we are kept our attention in this season from focusing on the pure love of God manifested in the birth of Jesus. We are so distracted with the things around us that we fail to give the Lord our fullest attention during this season. But you see, in purgatory, there are no distractions. In purgatory, we shall one day long to be with Jesus, and long to love Him with our pure love. In purgatory we shall spend our time being cleansed of the self-love that distracted us, kept us, from loving Jesus with pure love.

I hope we always remember the article saying: "If only we use the grace of God to live a holy and saintly life then we would avoid purgatory. Every time we say no to God’s grace, every time we say no to God’s love, we build a little bit more of the place in purgatory where we would suffer, to destroy the shell that surrounded our love for God when His grace was refused and sin took its place."

Never Be Afraid to Love Our Virgin Mother, Mary

“Never be afraid of loving the Blessed Virgin too much. You can never love her more than Jesus did.”

– Saint Maximilian Kolbe

Holy Mary Mother of God

"When you pray Holy Mary Mother of God, pray for us sinners now....., the Blessed Mother comes instantly to your side to pray with you. And she does not come alone. She brings angels with her. And not just one or two for she is the Queen of Angels, so choirs of angels come with her. And she and Jesus are joined at the heart and cannot be separated so she brings Jesus with her. And Jesus cannot be separated from the Trinity so He brings the Father and the Holy Spirit with Him.

And where the Holy Trinity is all of creation is and you are surrounded by such beauty and light as you cannot imagine in this life. Your Mother comes as Our Lady of Grace with her hands out-stretched. Rays of light emit from her hands piercing your body, healing you and filling you with graces.
This is your inheritance which was poured out from the heart of Jesus on the Cross, when the centurion pierced His Heart with the spear, into the only pure vessel ready to receive such graces at that time,Your Mother.

Now as you pray the Rosary, or even just recite one Hail Mary, you receive your portion of these graces."He also said at this time, "Anyone who goes to Mary and prays the Rosary cannot be touched by Satan." Is it any wonder that anyone who prays the Rosary from the heart is so blessed and protected and powerful in theircom prayers for others?" - Fr. Gabriel Amorth, Chief Exorcist of the Vatican

The Assumption of Our Lady

The Solemnity of the Assumption

Liturgy of the Eucharist (Offertory)

Excerpt from the Book "The Holy Mass"

The Testimony of Catalina
From a series of visions and messages
from Jesus and Mary
A teaching on what happens during the Holy Mass
and how to live it with our heart

A moment later came the Offertory, and the Holy Virgin said: “Pray like this: (and I followed) Lord, I offer all that I am, all that I have, all that I can.  I put everything into Your Hands.  Build up Lord, with the little that I am.  Transform me, God Almighty, through the merits of Your Son.  I ask for my family, for my benefactors, for each member of our Apostolate, for all the people who persecute us, for those who commend themselves to my poor prayers… Teach me to lay my heart down on the ground before them, so that their walk may be less hard...  This is how the saints prayed; this is how I want all of you to pray.”And this is how Jesus asks us to pray, that we lay our hearts on the ground so that they [for whom we intercede] may not feel its harshness, but rather that we give them relief through the pain caused by their stepping on our hearts.    Years later, I read a prayer booklet by a Saint whom I love dearly, José María Escrivá de Balaguer, and in that booklet I found a prayer similar to that which the Virgin Mary taught me. Perhaps this Saint, to whom I entrust myself, pleased the Virgin Mary with those prayers.
Suddenly, some characters that I had not seen before began to stand up. It was as if from the side of each person present in the Cathedral another person emerged, and soon the Cathedral became full of young beautiful beings. They were dressed in very white robes and started to move into the central isle, on their way to the Altar.
Our Mother said: “Observe.  They are the Guardian Angels of each one of the persons who are here.  This is the moment in which your guardian angel carries your offerings and petitions before the Altar of the Lord.”
At that point I was completely astonished because these beings had such beautiful faces, so radiant as one is unable to imagine.  Their countenance was very beautiful, they had almost feminine faces; however, the structure of their body, their hands, their height were masculine.  Their naked feet did not touch the floor, but rather they went as if gliding. That procession was very beautiful.
Some of them were carrying something like a golden bowl with something [inside] that shone a great deal with a golden white light.  The Virgin Mary said:   “Observe.  They are the Guardian Angels of the people, who are offering this Holy Mass for many intentions, those who are conscious of the significance of this celebration, those who have something to offer to the Lord…
“Make your offering at this moment… Offer up your sorrows, your pains, your dreams, your sadness, your joys.  Offer your petitions.  Remember that the Mass has infinite value.  Therefore, be generous in your offering and in your asking.”
Behind the first Angels came others who had nothing in their hands; they were going empty handed.  The Virgin Mary said:  “Those are the angels of the people who, in spite of being here, never offer anything.  They have no interest in living every liturgical moment of the Mass, and their Angels have no offerings to carry before the Altar of the Lord.”
At the end of the procession came other Angels who were rather sad, with their hands together in prayer, but with their eyes downcast. “These are the Guardian Angels of the people who are here, yet they are not here. That is to say, they are the people who have seen themselves forced to come, who have come here out of obligation but without any desire to participate in the Holy Mass. Their Angels go forth in sadness because  they have nothing to carry to the Altar, except for their own prayers.
“Do not sadden your Guardian Angels… Ask for much.  Ask for the conversion of sinners, for peace in the world, for your relatives, your neighbors, for those who commend themselves to your prayers.  Ask for much, not only for yourselves, but also for all the others.
“Remember that the offering which most pleases the Lord, is when you offer yourselves as a holocaust so that Jesus, upon His descent may transform you by His own merits.  What do you have to offer the Father by yourselves? Nothingness and sin, but the offering of yourselves united to the merits of Jesus, is pleasing to the Father.”
That spectacle, that procession was so beautiful, that it would be difficult to compare it to another.  All those celestial creatures were bowing before the Altar, some leaving their offering on the floor, others prostrating themselves on their knees, their foreheads almost touching the ground.  And upon reaching the Altar, they would disappear from my sight.

Confession (1)

Confess your sins truthfully, sincerely....do not hide...do not lie...

***********************************************************************************

Let consecrated souls therefore re-animate their trust in the Heart of Jesus. "I easily condone their weakness; what I want them to know is that if after their faults and falls they humbly cast themselves into My Heart, I love them always, and pardon them all." He adds: "Do you not know that the more wretched a soul is, the more I love her?" "The fact that I have chosen a soul does not mean that her faults and miseries are wiped out. But if in all humility that soul acknowledges her failings and atones by little acts of generosity and love, above all, if she trusts Me, if she throws herself into My Heart, she gives Me more glory and does more good to souls than if she had not fallen. What does her wretchedness matter to Me, if she gives Me the love that I want?" (20th October 1922).  Excerpt from the Book "The Way of Divine Love" by Servant of God Sister Josefa Menendez

What Happens if you don't confess sincerely and truthfully?

*The Road to Hell (Prophetic Dream of St. John Bosco 1868 A.D.)

(st. John) "Didn't they go to confession?"

(the Guide) "They did, but they either omitted or insufficiently confessed the sins against the beautiful virtue of purity, saying for instance that they had committed such sins two or three times when it was four or five. Other boys may have fallen into that sin but once in their childhood, and, through shame, never confessed it or did so insufficiently. Others were not truly sorry or sincere in their resolve to avoid it in the future. There were even some who, rather than examine their conscience, spent their time trying to figure out how best to deceive their confessor. Anyone dying in this frame of mind chooses to be among the damned, and so he is doomed for all eternity. Only those who die truly repentant shall be eternally happy. Now do you want to see why our merciful God brought you here?" He lifted the curtain and I saw a group of Oratory boys -- all known to me -- who were there because of this sin. Among them were some whose conduct seems to be good.

Boy Raised from the Dead by St. John Bosco

A fifteen-year-old boy in Turin was about to die. He called for Don Bosco, but the saint was not able to make it in time. Another priest heard the boy's confession and the boy died. When Don Bosco returned to Turin, he set out at once to see the boy. When told that the boy was dead, he insisted that it was "just a misunderstanding." After a moment of prayer in the room of the dead child, Don Bosco suddenly cried out: "Charles! Rise!" To the utter amazement of all present, the boy stirred, opened his eyes, and sat up. Seeing Don Bosco, his eyes lit up.
"Father, I should now be in Hell!" gasped the boy. "Two weeks ago I was with a bad companion who led me into sin and at my last confession, I was afraid to tell everything . . . Oh, I've just come out of a horrible dream! I dreamt I was standing on the edge of a huge furnace surrounded by a horde of devils. They were about to throw me into the flames when a beautiful Lady appeared and stopped them. 'There's still hope for you, Charles,' she told me. 'You have not yet been judged!' At that moment I heard you calling me. Oh, Don Bosco! What a joy to see you again! Will you please hear my confession?"
After hearing the boy's confession, Don Bosco said to the boy, "Charles, now that the gates of Heaven lie wide open for you, would you rather go there or stay here with us?" The boy looked away for a moment and his eyes grew moist with tears. An expectant hush fell over the room. "Don Bosco", he said at last, "I'd rather go to Heaven." The mourners watched in amazement as Charles leaned back on the pillows, closed his eyes, and settled once more into the stillness of death.

Prepare for The Warning - Illumination of Conscience part 1

"...great event will shock everyone..." (see Paragraph 2)

"...will see great signs in the skies before The Warning takes place..."
(see Paragraph 2)

"Stars will clash with such impact that man will confuse the spectacle they see in the sky as being catastrophic. As these comets infuse a great red sky will result and the sign of my cross will be seen all over the world by everyone."
(see Paragraph 2)

"...for the first time in your lives, a truly Divine Sign that represents great news for sinners everywhere." (see Paragraph 2)

"See My cross then and you will know that My great mercy is being given to each of you, My precious children."  (see Paragraph 3)

"The Warning you will know that this is a sign of My love for you."
  (see Paragraph 3)

***********************************************************************************

You will be shown what it is like to die in mortal sin

" The Warning will be a purifying experience for all of you. It may be unpleasant in part especially for those in grave sin. Because for the first time ever you will be shown what it feels like when the light of God disappears from your life. Your souls will feel the abandonment felt by those who die in mortal sin. These poor souls who left it too late to ask God to forgive them their sins. Remember it is important that I allow all of  you to feel this emptiness of soul. For only then will you finally understand that without the light of God in your souls you cease to feel. Your soul and body would be just empty vessels. Even sinners feel the light of God because he is present in every one of his children on earth. But when you die in mortal sin, this light no longer exists.

Prepare now for this great event. Save your souls while you can. For it will only be when the light of God leaves you that you will finally realise the empty, barren and darkness that Satan offers which is full of anguish and terror.

Replenish your souls. Rejoice now for The Warning will save you and bring you closer to My Sacred Heart.

Welcome the Warning. For then  you will be given the proof of Eternal Life and know how important it is. "

***********************************************************************************

Mystical Event to be experienced by all over 7 years of age

"Don’t feel hurt when people dismiss these messages My daughter. Just be thankful that they are being given this gift. They will understand the truth of this prophecy after this mystical event which will be experienced by all of My children over seven years of age everywhere throughout the world takes place. Those who live after this event will be more cautious about the contents of this sacred book. They will find it difficult to ignore even if their faith is weak. Others who don’t want to know the truth still need to be reminded of the contents of this work."

***********************************************************************************

The Warning – Second Coming Close – Chance to Save your souls

***********************************************************************************

After the Warning do not turn back to your old ways

"I urge all of you that when  you have seen My presence and shown how sin,  not only offends me but propels you down the pathway to Hell that  you must not turn back to your old ways.

The period after the Warning is crucial for world peace and your salvation. Do not reject this gift. Grasp it with both arms. Let The Warning bring you as one in Me. When  you do this and pray for guidance you will be rewarded with the New Paradise on Earth where you will want for nothing.

Rejoice. Listen to Me. Heed My message and allow My love to envelop you towards My glorious kingdom.

I love you all. The next time you feel a stab of love in your heart for another fellow being remember that this gift comes from Me. Without love there is no life."

***********************************************************************************

"The prophecies given at Garabandal will now become a reality. Prepare now for this event for you have only a few months left to prepare your souls." (see Paragraph 1)

"The Warning will change everything. But it will present a fork in the road. Mankind, when having been woken up to the truth of the existence of God will then, through his own free will chose one of two paths. The path of salvation. Or the path of damnation." (see Paragraph 2)
Chastisement will wipe out much of the world

"Pray hard that man chooses the first. For if he doesn’t the world will suffer the most severe chastisement with much of it wiped out. Why would My children wish this? Yet, because of sin, man will sadly chose to ignore My promise and follow the path of the Deceiver. I have told you I will not give  you a date for The Warning for this is known by only a few chosen souls. For if this date were to be made public people would be tempted to seek redemption out of a sense of false humility. Trust in Me. All will be well children. You are blessed to be given this wonderful gift of Revelation. The world will now seem to  become quieter and somewhat strange in the coming months leading up to The Warning.
{note: time of this writing is Tuesday 31st May 2011 15.30 hours} For when it happens , spectacular though it will be visually in the sky so quiet will this mystical experience be that you will be more prepared for this silent encounter with your own conscience."

***********************************************************************************

"Remember the more people that are forewarned of this event the more souls will be saved. Pray pray My Divine Mercy for those souls who will die during The Warning. They need your prayers." (see Last Paragraph)

"Pray My beloved followers that your brothers and sisters can rejoice when they, too, are shown the proof of My existence. Pray that they will accept that this is their chance to redeem themselves in My eyes. That this great act of Mercy will save their souls if they will allow Me to help them." (see Paragraph 4)

"Only prayer, by believers can help you then. Prayer by My followers, combined with the recital of my Divine Chaplet of the Divine Mercy gift, given to Sister Faustina in the 20th Century {note: St. Faustina Diary} can save your souls at the time of your death." ( Look at everyone through My Eyes >> see Paragraph 3)

"Pray, pray, pray My Divine Mercy for your own souls and those of non-believers now. Prayer groups will help spread the truth, instill faith in those who have lost all sense of who they are and where they came from. It will be instrumental in igniting the spread of evangelical enlightenment which will now be felt in all parts of the world as the time approaches for the prophecies in relation to My Second Coming on Earth begin to be revealed as they unfold before a series of global events. (a)

Be prepared children at all times. Keep in a state of grace and keep your hearts open to My teachings of love and peace on earth. If My children all followed My teachings then there would be no wars, greed, hatred or poverty in the world. You need to sit down quietly every one of you for just half an hour each day.
(a)

Go through the psalms, the parables and ask yourself “does this lesson apply to my life in today’s world?”  You know the answer is, of course, yes. Pray for the strength to change your attitudes and views on life after death. Remember this important lesson. Earth is simply a brief passage in time. The only true happiness and eternal life is with Me in Heaven, Paradise – My Father’s Kingdom."

General Exercises

+O Most Holy Trinity! As many times as I breathe, as many times as my heart beats, as many times as my blood pulsates through my body, so many thousand times do I want to glorify Your mercy.

+I want to be completely transformed into Your mercy and to be Your living reflection, 0 Lord. May the greatest of all divine attributes, that of Your unfathomable mercy, pass through my heart and soul to my neighbor.

Help me, O Lord, that my eyes may be merciful, so that I may never suspect or judge from appearances, but look for what is beautiful in my neighbors' souls and come to their rescue.

Help me, that my ears may be merciful, so that I may give heed to my neighbors' needs and not be indifferent to their pains and moanings. Help me, O Lord, that my tongue may be merciful, so that I should never speak negatively of my neighbor, but have a word of comfort and forgiveness for all.

Help me, O Lord, that my hands may be merciful and filled with good deeds, so that I may do only good to my neighbors and take upon myself the more difficult and toilsome tasks.

Help me, that my feet may be merciful, so that I may hurry to assist my neighbor, overcoming my own fatigue and weariness. My true rest is in the service of my neighbor.

Help me, O Lord, that my heart may be merciful so that I myself may feel all the sufferings of my neighbor. I will refuse my heart to no one. I will be sincere even with those who, I know, will abuse my kindness. And I will lock myself up in the most merciful Heart of Jesus. I will bear my own suffering in silence. May Your mercy, O Lord, rest upon me.

+You yourself command me to exercise the three degrees of mercy. The first: the act of mercy, of whatever kind. The second: the word of mercy-if I cannot carry out a work of mercy, I will assist by my words. The third: prayer-if I cannot show mercy by deeds or words, I can always do so by prayer. My prayer reaches out even there where I cannot reach out physically.

O my Jesus, transform me into Yourself, for you can do all things.

St. Faustina, Diary number [163]

The Great Tribulation part 1

"The time is drawing close for the advent (arrival) of the Great Tribulation. This event will commence (begin) from the end of 2012" (see Paragraph 1)

"The second part, the Great Tribulation will commence as I have said before the end of 2012" (see Paragraph 5)

".....must not be confused with the time or the date for My Second Coming on Earth. For this, My children, is not being foretold in these messages. Anyone who attempts to give My children a date for My Second Coming is a liar and not a true prophet. I am, however, revealing years of specific events leading up to my Second Coming, through this prophet." (see Paragraph 1)

These ecological disasters will intensify at the end of 2011 and will, unfortunately, be felt in parts of the world where they are least expected. It is only when they become so common that people will then question them. Then they will realise that they are not due to climate change but have come about by the hand of God. (see The Messages >> 2011 is the Year for Purification throughout the whole world >> Paragraph 2)

The Scourging according to St. Faustina Kowalska

"I saw the Lord Jesus tied to a pillar, stripped of His clothes, and the scourging began immediately. I saw four men who took turns at striking the Lord with scourges. My heart almost stopped at the sight of these tortures" (445). "I saw how the Lord Jesus suffered as He was being scourged. Oh, such an inconceivable agony! … His blood flowed to the ground, and in some places His flesh started to fall off. I saw a few bare bones on His back. The meek Jesus moaned softly and sighed" (188). The Lord said to me, “I suffer even greater pain than that which you see.” And Jesus gave me to know for what sins He subjected himself to the scourging: these are sins of impurity. Oh, how dreadful was Jesus’ moral suffering during the scourging (445)! For the sake of His sorrowful passion, I invite you all to live a chaste life until marriage †
